Outstanding in Oregon is a destination management company and an engagement services company headquartered in inner NE Portland.

With everything we do - from showing people the best Portland-based experiences, to building stronger communities in Portland, to connecting Portlanders to international cultures abroad and at home - we aim to unite people to celebrate our diversity and our shared experiences in Oregon.

We charge flat fees for packaged events and a service fee based on the service.

A Note from Founder Kerry Driver

I love Portland and Oregon. When I visited for the first time in 1991, I promised myself that I'd move here one day after college. Then I didn't return until moving here in 2021. A 20-year career producing events and tours in China and Singapore kept me away, and now I'm thrilled to be back and doing what I love. I love working with my Oregon partners to help you and your people tour, recharge, reconnect, and enjoy outstanding experiences in Oregon. I love it for Oregon, and love it for you, too.

International Nonprofit Writing Through

Ideas grow and blossom along with confidence and critical thinking skills in Writing Through creative writing workshops. Workshops are co-designed with clients, and can be the full 10 hours (over 2-5 days, ends with a big event and published magazine) or a 1-day taster.

NE Portland's Williams Vancouver Business Association (WVBA)

Promoting collaboration and community is the backbone of every Outstanding in Oregon project, and we are thrilled to support partner engagement for the Williams Vancouver Business Association, sponsored in part by a Prosper Portland Vibrant Districts grant.

"How Do You Community?" Events - Any Organization

My 90-minute moderated conversation about Community gets people thinking and talking with discussion prompts and reflective facilitation. This Oregon Humanities Conversation Project is customized to clients' needs for maximum impact.
